Description

Elevate your holiday spread with this warm, gooey dip featuring Wood River Creamery’s Original Cheddar Gruyere cheese spread. Perfectly paired with fig jam and topped with nuts, it’s an easy, versatile crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

7 oz (1 container) of Wood River Creamery Original Cheddar Gruyere Cheese Spread

4 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup fig jam

Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans, pistachios, walnuts, or almonds

Dippers: Assortment of crostini, crackers, crudites, etc.

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

In a mixing bowl, blend the Wood River Creamery Original Cheddar Gruyere Spread and cream cheese with a hand mixer (or by hand) until combined.

Spread the cheese mixture into an even layer in the bottom of a small oven-safe baking dish.

Spoon the fig jam over the cheese mixture, spreading into an even layer.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the fig jam is bubbling and hot.

While the dip bakes, optionally toast the chopped nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until aromatic (this will just take a few minutes). Transfer the toasted nuts to a plate or bowl as soon as you small the nuts roasting (it’s a good indicator they’re done) to avoid burning.

Once the dip is out of the oven, sprinkle it with the toasted nuts (if using).

Allow the dip to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite dippers and enjoy!
