Holle-Oaks Dairy
The Holle Family; Baldwin, WIÂ
Amidst a sprawling oak forest sits Holle-Oaks Dairy LLC, a small family-owned dairy with deep roots and generations of farming heritage. Husband and wife team Joe and Mary Holle proudly carry on their family’s fifth generation of farming tradition. Today, they milk 55 registered Holsteins, carefully focusing on breeding select bloodlines within their herd to maintain strong genetics and produce high-quality, wholesome milk.
The Holles are committed to sustainable practices, keeping their herd on pasture for as long as the weather allows and employing rotational grazing to support the cows’ nutrition and the health of their land. This commitment extends beyond the farm gates, Mary shares her knowledge and passion by teaching Animal and Food Science at the University of River Falls, inspiring and equipping the next generation of farmers with the skills and values needed for a sustainable future.
Partnering with Burnett Dairy Cooperative, the Holles’ milk is crafted into farm-fresh cheese enjoyed across the region, connecting their pasture to your plate. Holle-Oaks embodies a true farm-to-table story, made possible by generations of hard work, thoughtful stewardship, and a genuine passion for farming.
